BAKED BASMATI JOLLOF RICE

Your holiday meals are not complete without Jollof Rice! So we made a special twist to the regular this season. Enjoy our Baked Basmati Jollof Rice recipe!

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 Cups of Basmati Rice
  • 1 cup of blended tomatoes and scotch bonnet
  • Bay leaves
  • 3 tablespoons of Tomato paste
  • 1 cup of chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons of thyme
  • 2 tablespoons of Curry
  • Onga Chicken Cubes
  • Salt
  • Vegetable Oil
  • Water
  • Onions
  • Onga GOG (Garlic, Onion, Ginger)
  • METHOD

    1. Rinse rice thoroughly and pour in a baking dish.
    2. Combine the blended pepper and all ingredients and stir so that everything is fully combined
    3. Cover with foil paper and place in oven and let it cook for 45 minutes
    4. Remove from oven and add steamed peas and carrot
    5. Serve warm with fried plantain and meat of your choice
