CHICKEN CURRY SAUCE

We are sure our sizzling Chicken Curry Sauce recipe will put you in the right mood this Christmas.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 kg, Chicken (cut in small pieces)
  • 4 medium, Onion (rough chopped)
  • Ginger
  • Garlic
  • 4 medium, Tomatoes (roughly chopped)
  • 3 small, Green chilies (chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon, Curry powder
  • ½ teaspoon, Red chili Powder
  • 1 tablespoon, Garam Masala
  • 6g, Onga Chicken Powder
  • ½ teaspoon, Salt
  • 4 tablespoon, Vegetable Oil/Coconut Oil
  • METHOD

    1. Clean & wash the chicken pieces and keep it to drain.
    2. Roughly chop the onions, tomatoes and green chilies
    3. Peel and crush the ginger and garlic cloves
    4. Heat oil in a pan and add the chopped onions
    5. Fry on high heat for 5-6 mins till brown in colour
    6. Add the crushed ginger and garlic and fry on medium heat for 2 mins
    7. Add the chopped tomatoes and green chilies and fry on medium heat for 2 mins
    8. Add the curry powder and mix & fry on medium heat for around 3 mins till tomatoes are soft
    9. Now add the chicken pieces and fry on medium heat for 10 mins till the chicken pieces are cooked
    10. Add the ready-made garam masala, then coconut milk and stir
    11. Cover pot and cook on low heat for 10 minutes
    12. Garnish with chopped parsley or coriander, serve hot with white rice.
