CHICKEN PEPPERSOUP

What are you having with this sumptuous Chicken pepper soup with? Yam, rice, boiled plantain or bread? ​

INGREDIENTS

  • 1kg Chicken ( washed and cut up in small pieces.)
  • 1 medium Onion (finely chopped)
  • 6g Onga Chicken Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt (adjust accordingly)
  • 1 tablespoon Cameroon Pepper
  • ½ cup Blended habanero and onions
  • 2 tablespoons, Pepper-soup spice
  • Water
  • Scent leaves (For garnish)
  • METHOD

    1. Place chicken in a pot
    2. Add onions, pepper mix, Onga Chicken Powder, some of the pepper soup spice, Cameroon pepper and salt
    3. Stir and cook (without water) for 5 minutes
    4. When the content of the pots starts to boil, add water, the left over pepper soup spice then cook for another 10-15 minutes on low heat.
    5. Chicken Pepper Soup is ready. Serve hot with bread, yam or rice
