CHICKEN SANDWICH

Our Onga Chicken Sandwich recipe guarantees you a wholesome Christmas breakfast.

INGREDIENTS

  • 600g, Chicken Breast
  • ½ teaspoon Black Pepper
  • Salt
  • 2 tablespoons, Olive Oil
  • 6g, Onga Chicken Powder
  • Vegetable Oil
  • Bread
  • Cheese
  • Lettuce
  • Chicken
  • 1 medium, Cucumber
  • 1 medium, Tomato
  • Sauce
  • 1 large white onion
  • METHOD

    1. Season chicken breast with salt, black pepper and Onga chicken powder. Marinate in a fridge for an hour
    2. Take out marinated chicken after one hour, place on a grill pan of outdoor grill and grill on both sides for 6 minutes each
    3. Cut the grilled chicken into tiny pieces and set aside
    4. In a different frying pan, caramelize your onions by stir frying till it’s golden brown (You can season your onions if you want)
    5. Cut the bread roll into two halves, add sandwich cheese or grated cheese. Toast in in oven or air fryer for a minute or two
    6. Next place in layers, lettuce, chicken, cucumber, tomato, preferred dressing and lastly caramelized onions.
    7. You can garnish with more grated cheese, mustard or chili flakes
    8. Close and enjoy
