HOMEMADE RAM ASUN

INGREDIENTS

  • 800 grams, ram meat
  • 2 Onga cubes
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 2 medium Onion
  • 1 teaspoon curry
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 Onga Stew
  • 3 Tbsp Vegetable Oil
  • 1 Cup Pepper Mix (bell pepper, scotch bonnet, paprika, onion)
  • METHOD

    1. Cut the ram meat into small pieces, wash and set aside.
    2. Place ram meat in a large pot and onions, thyme, curry, Onga cubes, and salt to taste.
    3. Stir in the seasoning, cover and cook for 15-20 minutes.
    4. Line a baking pan with baking sheet and spread the meat over
    5. Grill in the oven for 10 minutes and let it rest.
    6. Preheat oil in a pan and add the pepper mix Cook for 8 minutes and stir constantly
    7. Season with Onga Stew and Salt
    8. Add the ram meat and stir thoroughly
    9. Allow it to simmer for about 5 minutes on medium heat
    10. Add a little water if desired
    11. Lastly, garnish with onions
    12. Serve and enjoy
