- Blend peeled beans, peppers and onions in a blender to smooth and loose paste. (Don’t add too much water)
- Pour the beans into a mixing bowl
- Add in the chopped onions, salt, and Onga Classic powder. Stir well
- Add vegetable oil or palm oil (heat up the palm oil/vegetable oil for 2-3 minute on a medium heat before adding to the mix).
- Stir for another 3-5 minutes till well combined
- Set a large pot on medium heat, set the base of the pot with the moi moi leaf stalks
- Using your ladle spoon, scoop in your beans batter in the leaf cone and wrap up the leaf
- Place in pot and repeat till the batter is finished
- Cook for about 30-40 minutes
- Check from time to time and add water accordingly
- Serve with ogi, bread or garri
