ABACHA (AFRICAN SALAD)
Learn how to make Abacha! This delicious African salad recipe is a staple meal in south-east Nigeria! The key ingredient in this meal is Abacha shredded cassava! This meal has Garden eggs are filled with antioxidants and has anti-inflammatory properties. Also the presence of Fish which is rich in protein and Omega3 fatty acid, good for the eyes, skin, and immune system

- Boil water to soften the Abacha
- Roast the Ehuru (African Nutmeg) to make it easy to shell
- Shell the Ehuru and put it in a mortar, grind
- Pour the Abacha into a clean bowl, pour the boiled water into the bowl of Abacha and allow to soak for a minute
- Sieve out the water and set the Abacha aside
- Remove the head of shrimps and prepare to wash
- Wash and spice your fresh titus fish with ONGA chicken Cube, dry pepper and salt. Start to fry
- Wash the shrimps
- Wash your utazi leaves properly with salt and slice
- Wash and slice your garden eggs
- Chop your onions
- Pour palm oil into a pot using medium heat and allow to fry. Turn off the heat after frying
- Add Ogiri (Locust beans), Ground Crayfish and pepper into the pot of oil and stir
- Pour the Abacha into the pot, add a cooking spoon of palm oil and stir
- Add a cube of ONGA Chicken Cube
- Add the Utazi leaves and stir
- Add the sliced garden eggs and stir
- Pour the sliced onions and stir
