AROMATIC BEEF SAUCE
A truly hearty aromatic beef sauce that is tasty and incredibly easy to cook. Leaving your kitchen with an extraordinary delicious aroma!
INGREDIENTS
METHOD
- Heat up two tbsp olive oil a large pot. Place the beef cubes in hot oil and season with Onga cubes, brown the cubes of beef on all sides then set aside.
- Add the sliced onions to the same pot (add another table spoon of oil if required)
- Add garlic paste, ginger and all spices (paprika, chili, cumin & turmeric)
- Add another Onga cubes to the onion and spice mix the add tomato paste and stir
- Toss in the chopped tomato and stir to combine all spices. Add thyme and bay leaves, and simmer for one minute
- Add browned beef, peeled and cubed Irish potatoes, chopped pitted dates then add 2 cups of beef stock
- Cover and cook on low heat for 45 minutes
- Serve with Couscous or rice
