GOAT MEAT SAUCE

This colourful, spicy and tasty goat meat sauce would leave you craving for more! Very easy to make and in no time at all, an Ongalicious meal is ready! Try it

INGREDIENTS

  • ½ cup Vegetable Oil
  • ½ bulb Onions
  • 2 cups Pepper, Tomatoes and Onion Mix
  • 1 ONGA GOG (14g)
  • 2 teaspoons Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Curry
  • ½ teaspoon Thyme
  • ½ kg Cooked Goat Meat (Chopped)
  • 1 Medium Red Bell Pepper
  • 1 Medium Green Bell Pepper
  • METHOD

    1. Place a saucepan on medium heat.
    2. Add oil and heat up for 2 minutes
    3. Add onions and saute for another 2 minutes
    4. Pour the pepper mixture into the oil and stir. Cover the saucepan and cook on medium heat for 8-10 minutes or until the water content evaporates and stew starts to thicken
    5. Season with Onga GOG, salt, curry powder and thyme. Stir and add the cooked goat meat.
    6. Incorporate the goat meat with the stew and cook for a few minutes.
    7. Turn off the heat and serve with boiled or fried yam.
